Desert Highlands is a guard-gated private golf community located northeast of Pima Rd and Happy Valley Rd on the south side of Pinnacle Peak in beautiful North Scottsdale Arizona (zip code 85262). When Desert Highlands opened in 1983 it became the new standard for lavish desert living, and it remains the benchmark by which all other private golf communities are measured. In fact, Desert Highlands made history as the first residential community built around a country club, featuring 560 single family homes spread across 850 acres of pristine desert land.

Jack Nicklaus designed the remarkable championship golf course at Desert Highlands, and membership to the country club is required of all homeowners.
